Reblogged from Conversing With Novels:
September 10 is World Suicide Prevention Day
World Suicide Prevention Day on 10 September promotes worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides. On average, almost 3000 people commit suicide daily. For every person who completes a suicide, 20 or more may attempt to end their lives.
Show your support by writing love on your wrist or wearing yellow and by simply being there for someone in a crisis.
As a child in an extremely loving family and supporting environment, I can't imagine feeling so alone that you would want to end your own life - and I don't want to and never want anyone else to, either. I'm wearing LOVE on my wrist today.
