My dad already decided that we will never go out to eat for Thanksgiving again. He forgot what a hassle it is to wrestle all the kids into clean clothes and get us on the road! Lol. We went to Golden Corral, which has the biggest buffet I have ever seen in my life, and we ate everything from jello squares to beef liver (yuck). And my little brother Wesley and I spent thirty minutes texting each other. I don’t even know what we were talking about, he’s just the most text-happy kid in the world 🙂
Unfortunately, my third oldest sister Kyra couldn’t get off work in time; she’s a waitress and Cracker Barrel, where she works, failed to get anybody to come to work after her shift ended, so they kept her there all day. We went to see her after we ate. She was so bummed 😦 But next year we’ll be having our celebration at home, so we can fix our schedule to fix hers, no matter what it is.
One of the best parts of the day was watching my nephew EJ, since it was his first Thanksgiving. He absolutely loved everything: all the new food and laughing and all the people in the restaurant. He even loved the floor, cause he kept trying to lay down on it ^.^ It was awesome.
